Daniel is corporate lawyer with a strong focus on transactional law, specializing in foreign investment, contractual structures, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, antitrust, finance, and real estate law. He assists clients in structuring and implementing business transactions in Mexico in a wide range of industries, including automotive, product manufacturing, spirits, retail, real estate, agro-based, among others. Daniel also provides expert guidance to foreign clients in forming Mexican subsidiaries or expanding their Mexican operations and is well-versed in compliance and transactional related issues.

In addition to his experience in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, Daniel assists clients in antitrust issues, including merger and concentration reviews and notifications before Mexico’s Antitrust Commission. 

As a transactional lawyer, Daniel is also experienced in contract negotiation. He helps clients in developing and implementing action plans to meet specified goals and objectives to enter into a mutually beneficial contractual relationship. His experience includes negotiating stock purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, lease agreements and specialized services agreements, among others.
