Labor, Employment and Corporate Compensation

Labor, Employment and Corporate Compensation:

At F&E, we combine traditional employment and labor law with creative and cutting-edge strategy consulting and litigation from both the collective and individual standpoint, with exclusive representation of employers. We have experience in all phases of the employee-employer relationship, and the legal ramifications thereof. While we focus on preventing litigation, employment contingencies and adverse consequences that may affect our clients’ uninterrupted operations, our labor practice also actively litigates employment matters for our clients.

We advise our clients in preparing, drafting and negotiating the proper documentation of employment relationships, termination strategies, internal compliance procedures, expat hiring strategies, high level executive compensation plans and structures, as well as compliance with Mexican authorities including the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. Our services include the advice and drafting of work contracts for directors or high-level employees including non-compete covenants, confidentiality and golden parachute clauses, structuring and implementation of profit-sharing arrangements and plans, as well as drafting legal opinions in labor and employment matters.

As a solution-oriented Firm, our labor practice interacts with other areas of the Firm to provide labor and employment advice in corporate transactions, carrying out labor due diligences and identifying potential and existing employment contingencies.
