Roberto is founding partner of the firm and has over 35 years of experience counseling clients doing business in Mexico as a leading expert in cross-border transactions with emphasis on international transactional law, international trade, maquiladora industry, corporate law, workouts and insolvency, real estate and complex negotiations. He supports his transactional practice by bringing together his corporate and dispute resolution experience for the structuring and negotiation of transactions.
Roberto also has extensive experience in structuring and implementing joint ventures in Mexico and routinely advises clients in complex cross-border transactions and negotiations including joint ventures, maquiladoras, contractual structures, corporate law, tax and real estate matters.
Additionally, Roberto’s experience includes commercial litigation and arbitration in disputes involving commercial issues, workouts, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions. This in turn, makes his multi-disciplinary practice unique as he provides comprehensive advice to clients with his broader vision and deal-making approach.
